Sony has announced its first true ultrabook, the VAIO T with a 17.8mm-thick brushed metal body .The VAIO T comes in 11-inch and 13-inch options. Inside there's an Intel Core i3 Sandy Bridge processor ,4GB RAM, and integrated Intel HD 3000 graphics. Storage comes by way of a solid state drive with 20GB hard drive which has SSD cache memory for faster bootup time.Sony predicts nine hours of battery life for the SSD-only model. The VAIO T will be launched in this month for an unspecified price, which we'd hope would come in some way south of the exorbitantly-priced VAIO Z.
